About Me

Lygia Davenport Wilson holds a BA in International studies, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. She has studied and volunteered abroad in South Africa, Trinidad, Mexico, and London. She has served on the Board of a children’s strings music program, and has worked regularly in private and public education settings. She is currently pursuing her doctorate.

Lygia lives in Connecticut with her husband and five children. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
